Picture Stories - Seeon June 2012
In June 2012 I visited the monastery in Seeon, which is beautifully
located near a lake close to Chiemsee in Bavaria. The monastery is
now a congress and conference hotel with a cathedral close by.
The surrounding is also very nice and the lake is perfectly suited
for going swimming, fishing (there are actually lots of fish in it)
and paddling with a boat. Seeon itself is a typical village in
old Bavarian style with one beer garden after another and a few
small shops, but of course they close very early. :/
