Picture Stories - Hamburg Hagenbeck Zoo April 2013
In April I visited the Hagenbeck Zoo, which is located in the north of
Hamburg. Mr. Hagenbeck, the founder of the zoo, was the first director
introducing cage-free habitats for all animals in the world and thus
the zoo became very famous.
In order to make a famous and good zoo, lions are mandatory of course
and Hagenbeck has actually a lot at the moment (see left picture for
the pride). The last litter is almost two years ago, though. In
addition, it also offers a beautiful and wide arctic landscape and a
large tropical house.
Still have some more pictures, so after a while there could be new ones
here, also from the city and the Lion King musical building in Hamburg. :)
